2017-18

Reactor Building Ventilation Heater Controller - Design, program, test and deliver Programmable Logic Controllers, associated input/output (I/O) modules, power supplies and HMI for use in the replacement for Reactor Building Ventilation Heater Controller for Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station. The new equipment replaced the obsolete, existing Pneumatically Controlled system and was required to improve response time as well as decrease maintenance of the existing equipment. Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) was completed at our facility in Deerfield, MA. Attended on site Site Acceptance Test (SAT) to assist in validating procedures for system.

2015-16

Reactor Recirculation PLC - Replace existing obsolete Reactor Recirc control system. Design, program, test and deliver (3) Programmable Logic Controllers and associated input/output modules and power supplies for use in the Reactor Recirculation System. The new equipment replaced existing Modicon 484 PLCs (circa 1977) and was programed to replicate all functions of the obsolete PLCs. Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) was completed at our facility in Deerfield, MA. Attended on site Site Acceptance Test (SAT) to assist in validating procedures for system.

2012- 13

EPR - Replace existing obsolete EPR control system (PC board level) with PLC based system. Develop revised logic to mimic original designed system at NMP. Worked with NMP Staff to implement changes to original VY system. Built full electrical replacement panel to specs from Sergeant & Lundy (S&L) and implemented programming changes. Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) was completed at our facility in Deerfield, MA. Attended on site Site Acceptance Test (SAT) to assist in validating procedures for system.

Modicon Rad-Waste Replacement System - design, manufacture, test and deliver Programmable Logic Controllers, associated input/output (I/O) modules, power supplies and HMI for use in the replacement for the Modicon Rad-Waste Replacement System. Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) was completed at our facility in Deerfield, MA. Attended on site Site Acceptance Test (SAT) to assist in validating procedures for system.

EPR - Replace existing obsolete EPR control system (PC board level) with PLC based system. Develop logic to mimic original designed system. Provide plc components and develop software. Duplicate system from VY.

Vermont Yankee Nuclear Generating Station:
(DECON - 2014)

2012

STAR Trainer System – Designed and developed PLC based system to simulate 1 Vessel of the CON-DEMIN System. This will be used for training purposes. Provided PLC materials and HMI including programming and design.

2006

CW Intake and Discharge Gate Controls System Retrofit. - Converted system to new PLC, replaced GE Series 3 PLC.VY13. Provided PLC and programming.

2003-04

Condensate Demineralizer (CON-DEMIN) Backwash/Precoat Control System Retrofit. – Updated PLC2 system to PLC5 system. Used same I/O rack but updated the processor due to obsoletion. Provided materials and programming for 5 vessel system.

2001-2002

EPR – Replace existing obsolete EPR control system (PC board level) with PLC based system. Develop logic to mimic original designed system. Provide plc components and develop software. Note - This was the original system for the GE BWR Plants that have been duplicated in 3 plants (VY, Pilgrim Station, and Oyster Creek) and the base system for 1 (Nine Mile Point).

2000-01

6 Temperature Chart Recorder - Replace an existing monitoring system with a PLC based system and an Operator Interface Unit. Provide all components and program PLC and HMI. Include interfacing with existing data collection system over Modbus protocol.

Read 20 RTD inputs, Send 20 Readings to Analog Cards, Send all readings to Panelview to be displayed.

Read 64 Type T Thermocouple inputs, Send all readings to Panelview to be displayed.

Set up alarm logic to provide 6-8 outputs to individual enunciators.

1997-98

Chromolox Replacement - Replace an existing monitoring system with a PLC based system and an Operator Interface Unit. Provide all components and program PLC and HMI.

Read 30 RTD inputs, Send 12 Readings to Analog Cards, Send all readings to Panelview to be displayed.

Read 30 Type T Thermocouple inputs, Send all readings to Panelview to be displayed.

Set up alarm logic to provide 1 output to an annunciator.
